Discipleship

This specialization is designed to equip workers who are already serving in the Lord's field or wish to join the discipleship training ministry. It enables each participant to understand their identity and grasp the Church's mandate as a faith community where edification, strengthening, and encouragement are central. The goal is to equip each student to design and implement an effective discipleship plan in their congregation.

Target Audience

This specialization is suitable for the following profiles:

• Those whose profession is evangelism
• Those serving in a ministry within their local church
• Any believer passionate about the mandate of making disciples

Duration

This diploma program lasts 60 weeks, comprising a total of 10 courses of 6 weeks each. The student will cover the following curriculum:

1. Understanding the Bible: From Creation to New Creation	1. Introduction to Christian Education
2. Exposure to Major Biblical Doctrines	2. Evangelizing towards Disciple-Making
3. Issues and Practices of Christian Ministry	3. The Discipleship Ministry in the New Testament
4. Effective Preaching Techniques	4. Design and Implementation of a Discipleship Ministry in a Congregation
5. Organization of Intellectual Work (OIW)	Note: Specialization Course #4 can only be taken at the end of the program and will serve as a catalyst for the student in designing, implementing, and exercising this ministry in their local church.
